Review: The foliage creating a gateway to another realm is a common design element, though placing this one within the doorway bearing similar architecture to the area in which the film is set is a strong move. The rest of the design is about as expected.

Trailer: C

Review: I don’t quite understand the use of Lorde’s song “Team” for this trailer, other than its reference to palaces in the mind. It’s a shameless attempt to endear teen audience’s to the film. The trailer feels distracting, keeping the audience from connecting to the monkeys on screen, which are sometimes cute, but not nearly as much as they need to be to get audience’s to show up at the cinema.
