Review: As rudimentary as the design is, it does surprisingly well at conveying the hard nature of the character and the softness of his profession, but both rely on the trailer and the title to get that across.

Review: This rather dull, listless trailer presents a character with a questionable past and that he’s trying to do something slightly less awful in the present, but neither of these narratives are convincingly woven into a film that can appeal.

Oscar Prospects:

This film looks like it could be an Oscar contender, but without knowing more about it than what we see in the trailer or seeing how it performs with other critics, it’s difficult to say.
