Review: I’ve seen a very small version of the real poster elsewhere and this isn’t it. This is a rudimentary placeholder that tries to take the “genre” in a new direction…one that has already been proven not to work.

Trailer Rating: C+

Review: I want to love the film. It’s got some amazing talent in it: Chris Cooper and Patricia Clarkson. However, Pierce Brosnan doesn’t look very good and Rachel McAdams looks like she’ll be terrible. The conventional plot doesn’t add to the film’s potential.

Oscar Prospects:

If the film were less obvious and had a later release, I could see both Chris Cooper and Patricia Clarkson in contention for awards, but as it stands, I can’t see it happening.
