Review: (#1, C) After a series of cellphone-based horror films, one would expect such a film in this design. That’s not exactly what’s going on though perhaps it is. Either way, it’s overused and far too close-up.

Review: (#1, B-) We’ve seen films similar to this before. Is she a prima donna? Is she a righteous revenge seeker? Is this a film about perceived injustice and a woman descending into madness as a result? It’s difficult to tell. At first, it seems more like a film about post-partem depression and anxiety but then descends into familiar thriller territory and never finds a way to make the film look intriguing.
Oscar Prospects:
The film has gotten very little buzz this year in spite of the seemingly strong performance of Daisy Ridley. I wouldn’t expect much at all from this one.
