Review: (#1, C+) This is perhaps too spot on for its own good. Having the buoy and the satellite inside the bodies of the characters they embody in the film trailer is a bit cheesy. The empty white space is aggressive and overwhelming. Throw in the too-small critic remark at the top and you have something that largely fails to excite.

Trailer Rating: B-

Review: (#1, B-) For an intriguing concept that seems to be a blend of WALL-E and Her, this trailer is surprisingly mediocre. The idea of mankind being viewed from after its eradication has so much potential that it’s surprising how leaden and underwhelming the trailer is. It gives most of its narrative up to the audience, which removes some of the awe and wonder. That alone might make it difficult to sell based on this alone.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
