Review: It looks like a Jean-Claude Van Damme film set in the Louisiana Bayou by the looks of this poster. The colors are pleasant, but it’s not terribly similar to the preview’s plot.

Trailer Rating: B-

Review: What initially turned me off was the relatively poor characterization of the mentally handicapped. And through the trailer’s length, it starts getting interesting then that character shows up and brings it back down. I don’t know if this will be some kind of indie marvel or a direct-to-DVD type film, but it could easily go either way according to this trailer.

Oscar Prospects:

I’m certain that, since the film rolls into theaters in January of its qualifying year, it isn’t a contender.
