Review: (#1) The hand-drawn designs often lack artistry, which is strange considering the medium, but this does a subtle bit of thematic signaling and has enough interesting details to draw the viewer’s attention. (#2) While there’s some subtlety in the first design, this one lacks it. The theme is obvious, but doing so prevents the rest of the design from containing anything remotely interesting.

Review: The trailer gives off a Safety Not Guaranteed vibe if it had been directed by Spike Jonze. Yet, it seems to struggle to make its case for interest by the audience who see a film that lacks a clear vision or a rooting premise.
