Review: (#1) It sends a strong message, but that doesn’t mean it’s sufficiently artistic. While posters don’t need to be more than sales tools, inventiveness does count for a lot in poster design.
(#2) This isn’t more effective than its predecessor, but I must give it credit for the tape outline across the wall. That subtle effect is all that keeps this design from failing entirely.

Review: (#1) The original short film is quite frightening. It’s easy to see why studios would want to try to cash in on that. However, is the premise strong enough to support a full length feature. This trailer suggests that it might not be with a lot of padding around the plot and only a couple of genuine chills in the trailer’s entirety.
(#2) We now have a premise to go with the film’s concept, which makes one wonder if the short film’s creators had this very premise in mind or if it’s been shoe-horned into the production. It looks more engaging with a somewhat original touch, but ultimately this looks like most of the paranormal activity-era films with too little variance.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
