Trailer Rating: B-

Review: The film looks as if it might be a comedy but it’s nearly impossible to tell for sure just from the preview. Although there is no hint of violence, there is a certain air to the film that suggests a similar conceit to Grindhouse.

Oscar Prospects:

Aki Kaurismaki has never gotten major Oscar attention, so I see no reason for that to change now. It may be a foreign language film contender if submitted, but I can’t imagine the Academy going for this type of film.
