Review: Things start off generic, get better and then get much worse. The first design is typical of your kid-targeted animated film. It has all the characters and all the symbols expected from a film set in the land of Oz. The second design is much more in line with The Wizard of Oz, a dark, haunting design that is far more interesting than everything else. The rest are character designs that only make the cheesy animation even more painfully obvious and cements the film as the least necessary of the year.

Review: Crappy humor. Gaudy animation. This looks like a direct-to-video train wreck on par with the likes of Doogal and that film at least looked better. This one can’t even muster a competent joke.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
