Poster Rating: B-

Review: The colors of the poster blend well and the symbolism of the darkened, storm-laden sky is quite accessible. However, Troy Garity and Sissy Spacek’s placement and positioning feel entirely out of place.

Trailer Rating: C+

Review: I’m not entirely certain this film wants to be a crime drama or a melodrama. There are elements of A History of Violence in the trailer, but the voice over feels entirely out of place and the production quality is somewhat amateur.

Oscar Prospects:

Sissy Spacek’s name gets bandied about annually as a potential nominee. However, the quality of this trailer suggests the film is rather minor and would only be a contender at the Spirit Awards.
