Review: (#1 & #2) These nearly identical designs are interesting from their own perspective and will work adequately in selling the film, but they don’t break out beyond satisfactory.

(#3) Up on the rooftop, click click click…it’s not St. Nick. It’s something far more sinister. This is a delightful play on the old tales, upending the unnerving idea of a stranger with a sack of goodies preparing to descend your chimney.

Review: Remaining linear may help the audience identify with the film’s plot, but it makes the trailer seem overlong. We get a firm grasp of the nature of the film, but never get a sense of excitement or originality, focusing instead on how similar it is to horror-themed Christmas flicks of the past.
