Review: (#1) A poorly constructed poster that features Halle Berry thrice, bold lines separately segments and a white series of taglines. Berry’s fans might be interested, but it is insufficiently presented as a timely film about the L.A. Riots in 1992.
(#2) The peacefulness of a mother sleeping with her “children” is serene, but unimpressive.
Trailer Rating: B

Review: The trailer does a solid job evoking a sense of family, a sense of danger, and a sense of political immediacy. It does not do a great job of selling itself as an important film to watch, but looking deeper, you can pick up on not-always-subtle suggestions to the contrary.
Oscar Prospects:
It depends on how good the film is, but it could be an Oscar player, at least for Halle Berry in Best Actress.
