Review: (#1) There’s far too much empty space here and the central image isn’t well placed, though is ultimately fitting to the film’s premise.

(#2) Not much interesting here with the giant font an incongruous look for the overall design.

Review: (#1) A well balanced trailer that creates inspiration in the minds of those who have been influenced by Venus & Serena Williams’ careers with enough of a hint to a potent Will Smith performance to be additionally appealing.

(#2) With a stunning song to accentuate the images, this overlong trailer does a fine job selling the subjects of the film without giving away to newcomers details those unfamiliar with the sports figures would have.

Oscar Prospects:

It’s hard to believe that Will Smith won’t be an Oscar nominee this year for this film. It looks like impressive work from the trailer alone. Whether the film can perform well outside of his performance depends on its box office success as well as its impression on critics.
