Review: (#1, C+) A water droplet, a broken tennis racket, and a severed thumb. While individually, they don’t tell much of a story, they at least tell the viewer, along with the bleeding hand in the center, set up the kinds of kindness of the title.
(#2-#9, B-) These character posters are certainly interesting and they do involve a clever conceit. While the individuals scenes from the film and the tacky title area aren’t impressive, they are generally a step above others of their kind. (#10, C+) The face mask conceit wears thin quickly and easily with this overwhelming and busy design.
Trailer Rating: B- / C / C/h4>

Review: (#1, B-) The chaos of this trailer will make it difficult for audiences to find something intriguing to latch onto. There are no plot details and the actors aren’t presented with much opportunity to sell the movie, so the end result is something that has only a little bit that’s of interest.
(#2, C) There is no plot recitation here but it appears to be an attempt to create something bizarre and original for a short trailer but the end result isn’t something even remotely interesting.
(#3, C) The plot still remains a mystery and the attempt to appeal to viewers who are interested in the oddball nature of Yorgos Lanthimos’ films but even for them, this tepid effort won’t carry much appeal.
Oscar Prospects:
Yorgos Lanthimos will be riding high off his Poor Things performance and while this doesn’t look oblique many of his other films, it could still contender.
