Review: (#1, C) Is she mad or excited? You can’t tell, nor will you care to find out. This still from the film employs a dull font for its title and fails to generate much enthusiasm. (#2, C) getting closer-up to the figure from the first design might minimize the emptiness of the background but it accentuates its uselessness as you can barely notice the tennis racket, which robs it of some of its thematic placement.

Review: (#1, C+) At times, this reminds of the film Armand from last year without helping itself stand out. It’s got a mystery on hand that reminds but doesn’t quite match the compelling nature of a film like The Sweet Hereafter. That it reminds of each of these films and tries to obscure the purpose of its premise just exacerbates its inability to appeal broadly.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
