Review: The first design is very reminiscent of the style employed by Big Trouble in Little China and other ’80s martial arts extravaganzas, both centered on a ’70s design aesthetic. The second is a more traditional effort focusing on the characters and battles, but lacking style or grace.

Review: This looks as idiotic as Stephen Chow’s Kung Fu Hustle, a ludicrous martial arts comedy. Fans of that film will undoubtedly fall all over this one, but everyone else will shrug in confusion and walk away.
