Poster Rating: B-

Review: Without resorting to the typical action clichs, the poster manages not to offend too much. While the airbrush style makes it seem too far out of place, it is nevertheless a less obtrusive poster than a lot of the other summer flicks.

Trailer Rating: C-

Review: It’s no surprise that the film is opening in the wake of the 4th of July. The trailer is anything but exciting and looks more like a dime store cross between The Time Machine and Jumanji.

Oscar Prospects:

With so much competition for this year’s Visual Effects award, this film won’t likely even be an also-ran.
