Review: (#1) I fail to see what being fitted for a suit has to do with the film, other than a single scene referenced in the trailer. This is far from engaging. (#2) Unflappable in the face of insurmountable odds. This is precisely the type of poster needed to sell this film, even if it doesn’t have a lot of visual flair.
(#3) What the purpose of the colored tinting is isn’t readily apparent, nor is anything that would make this design that much more interesting.
(#4) An awful pun and a cheesy design do not a great poster design make. (#5) When you’re selling a film, it might be nice to include the main character, but without getting creative beyond a non-blank background doesn’t appear to be possible for this film’s posters. (#6) Slightly more creative than some of the other designs, it still lacks a credible spark. (#7) What a seemingly pointless design. These artists just don’t seem to have any great ideas. (#8) Another cheaply simplistic background and overall design.
Trailer Rating: C+ / B

Review: (#1) Perhaps if you’re enamored with the original, this trailer will entice you to give it a watch. There are plenty of action elements for audiences interested in such thing, but it doesn’t look different enough from a lot of other films to be able to differentiate itself well in the marketplace.
(#2) Fans of the first film will certainly get enough from this trailer to cement their future ticket purchase. For others, the Taken-esque elements won’t give them much enticement to give this film a try.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
