Review: Instantly forgettable, much like the trailer, this poster has no visual distinctiveness and no panache. It’s the poster equivalent of wet, pasty cardboard.

Review: If you have never heard of Joe Strummer (as I have not), then nothing in this preview will be of remote interst to you. It’s a documentary about this punk icon that fails to really break out from petty, traditional fare.

Oscar Prospects:

Oscar doesn’t tend to recognize documentaries about music especially since there is no politics involved. I don’t see them altering that stance for this one.
