Review: (#1) If you ever had that relative who would make the “brain sucker” joke, this really just reminds of that, nothing nefarious or haunting. (#2) This has a little more terrifying a concept at its heart, but the figure in the center looks like a rough cut-and-paste job and that’s not very appealing.
(#3) With plenty of details to give observers something to dwell on, This effort is perhaps a little two stuck in its color scheme, which makes the design harder to look at for the length of time needed to study its details.
Trailer Rating: B- / C

Review: (#1) Horror filmmakers have been trying to turn non-American legends and ghost tales into Hollywood-level horror films and while there are some elements that showcase a uniqueness of vision, the trailer does a poor job avoiding the inevitably familiar appeal.
(#2) The first trailer created a sense of suspense while this second one wants to do the same without knowing how to do so. It’s a rather dull, lifeless experience that doesn’t benefit from a lack of narrative content.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
