Review: John Steinbeck was a potent author who looked at the plight of the poor in America during the Great Depression. Some of that immediacy is on display in the trailer, but it plays with such a conventional and unappealing force that audiences aren’t likely to jump on its bandwagon.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
