From IMDb: “In the thriller, IMPRISONED, Dylan Burke (Juan Pablo Raba), attempts to move on from his former life as a criminal, with his true love, Maria (Juana Acosta). Calvin does everything in his power to make sure that Burke pays for his past mistakes, even going as far as to frame him for a murder he didn’t commit, landing him back in jail. Review: (#1) This Cuban design isn’t as interesting as it wants you to think it is. (#2) An even less compelling design with a rudimentary distress overlay and blocky foreground images.

Review: An overused premise is at the heart of this prison drama that goes to great lengths to earn the audience’s sympathy and then fails to use that to pull the audience into the events, causing them too turn out fairly quickly.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
