Review: Way more simple than it needs to be, this poster is hardly exciting and, while it fits perfectly within the scope of the film’s plot, it isn’t one of those poster’s that’s likely to enthuse younger audiences, even with the Disney-knock-off grin.

The only thing different about this second poster is that it adds more characters. Therefore, it gets the exact same grade as the addition of characters doesn’t add to or detract from the poster design.

Review: While I love John Cusack as an actor, the entire premise of this film seems a bit out there. There are kernels of originality here and I certainly like the “break the mold” theme, but it seems too childish and too second-rate (compared to Pixar) to be any good.

Oscar Prospects:

Another film producers are likely to want to push for a Best Animated Feature nomination. I don’t think this will be the film to fill out the third slot.
