Review: (#1) Having a symbol etched in the lights of the cityscape works as a bold concept, but suffers in execution. (#2) As we know from the trailer, this opposition is child’s play, but the poster doesn’t care if it makes sense to those unfamiliar with the trailer or the source. (#3) A cluttered, useless mess.
(#4) Numeric design aside, this is horribly bland. (#5) Hitman in action with token female character targeting an audience that doesn’t care about the film in the first place. (#6) As much as like this throwback to designs of the 1960’s, it’s still unbelievably hollow.
Trailer Rating: C-
Review: If I wanted to watch a film about a no-name actor who can’t actually act and simply blows up the place, I’d watch every other film using an identical concept starring Jason Satham, who’s at least mildly interesting to watch. If you’re into shoot-em-up films with minimal substance, this is probably your movie.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
