Review: While we should all be thankful that they aren’t trying to push the titular green as a design aesthetic, the end result isn’t anymore compelling.

Review: I have no doubt that this film is a compelling look at race in the Civil Rights era. I also have no doubt that its stars deliver strong performances. What I have doubt in is the film being any good. This trailer is Point A to B design basics without seeming particularly compelling.
Oscar Prospects:
With its performance at the Toronto International Film Festival, the film has become something of a frontrunner for Oscar consideration. Although TIFF has been known to push Best Picture frontrunners, this film just doesn’t seem like the kind of movie that goes all the way.
