Review: (#1) I love this design just for its sheer boldness. It’s a bit obvious and that’s what hurts it most, but it’s nevertheless a nice little design. (#2) The vertical lines are already cheap enough in terms of thematic relevance, but to also put the shadow of a chain link fence on top of that is utterly pointless. With a design behind them that isn’t particularly compelling doesn’t help matters.

Review: (#1 & #2) The teaser trailer doesn’t give enough information about the film to really engage the audience, but the second one does a lot more heavy lifting. Sure, elements of the story seem a touch formulaic and the connection between Holocaust survivor turned inmate de-emphasizes the horrific situation in which the protagonist sits, but its interesting enough that it will appeal to the target demographic, but won’t earn much attention elsewise.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
