Review: (#1 & #2) This pair of posters isn’t exactly the same, but they share a single similar element and neither are particularly competent designs, looking very cheap the both of them.
(#3) It uses the same aesthetic motif as the prior designs without improving on them. Ultimately, it looks slightly more shoddy than the prior designs.
Trailer Rating: C+ / C

Review: (#1) I guess if you’re a child, this might hold some appeal. Or if you’re a fan of the original film. Or of the R.L. Stein books. However, for the rest of the much larger world, it just doesn’t feel that exciting.
(#2) When your job is to make a trailer that appeals to children, putting kids in it is a good first step. What’s not a good first step is making a trailer that doesn’t create a sense of peril or excitement.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
