Review: You can barely tell it’s star Zac Efron, which might dim its box office prospects. The golden tinge, which is also symbolic of the scorching sun works modestly, but that shoe-horned insert of the desert digging is ill-placed.

Review: It might be nice to see take on a serious, non-musical role, but this film looks unpleasant and that’s how it wants to look. That’s a problem for bringing in curiosity seekers. Unlike films like Buried, there’s no sense of tension and that keeps it from appealing to many.
