Poster Rating: B-

Review: In context with the trailer, this poster has a number of meanings, but as a stand alone product, it’s difficult to understand. All you can get is it’s a woman in handcuffs tinkling on a piano. It’s hardly as expressive as it needs to be.

Trailer Rating: B+

Review: Four Minutes seems like a potentially delightful film. It touches on the hysterics of mental illness, the bridge between illness and genius, and the power of faith and friendship. It may seem hokey, but the trailer gives the idea freshness and zeal.

Oscar Prospects:

If the film is submitted by Germany to the Oscar Foreign Language competition, not only do I think it could get a nomination, it could be a contender for the win.
