Review: (#1) Romance in a hospital setting. Not very romantic.
(#2) They certainly aren’t trying very hard to be creative.
(#3) This design is no more interesting than the prior and no less detailed. A vacant poster does not attention draw.
Trailer Rating: C+ / C / C+

Review: (#1) The cottage industry that is dying teens falling in love has turned up again and while there are some genuinely warm moments in the trailer, the entire thing feels mostly just warmed-over.
(#2) The trailer for this film continues to dig into the morbid and questionably purposeful subgenre of dying teens and their romantic entanglements. Fans of the novel might be enthused, as might younger audiences who made similar films successful, but the film itself doesn’t look particularly engaging.
(#3) There’s nothing about this dying teen subgenre that doesn’t feel cheap. It’s intended to feel hopeful, but this latest trailer doesn’t give itself towards importance.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
