Review: (#1) The blocky yellow lettering may barely go with the image, the combination isn’t very interesting or enticing.
(#2) You can add texture to background, but if it’s still blank, it’s not that interesting. The characters are posed generically and the overall design is bland.
(#3) Maybe it will make sense to wrestling fans. To everyone else, it’s not likely to be compelling.
Trailer Rating: B- / B-

Review: (#1) The trailer starts off poorly and if it weren’t for the performances of the young cast, it would feel like a painfully lame attempt by British filmmakers to include an American idol in its narrative cheapness. Then again, there’s something compelling about the story that even Dwayne Johnson can’t inhibit.
(#2) With more details about the film, the core of humor is still as loose and unfocused as the prior trailer, we just have more background information to go with it.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
