Review: (#1, C+) It’s an uninspired backdrop, but the burning man fits the film’s premise and is starkly notable. (#2, C+) The colors are interesting, but the lack of backdrop isn’t. Trying to visually situate oneself to understand the top-down nature is difficult and not knowing what the figures leaving the charge are makes for confusion. (#3, C) Taking the first design and adding the supposed terrified yell of the mother doesn’t work, mainly because there’s no fear in the eyes.
Trailer Rating: C+

Review: (#1, C+) There are moments in the trailer that come alive, most notably the one displayed on the posters, yet it never finds a path forward that makes it seem like a film we haven’t already seen a hundred times before.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
