Review: (#1, C) At one point, poster designs were meant to draw the audience in. When did they become so dry that they aren’t worth looking at for more than a few seconds. You get no sense of what the film is about and even Judy Greer fans aren’t likely to latch onto this and get excited.

Review: (#1, C+) If you took out all the exposition and supplementary material of We Need to Talk About Kevin, you might have this movie. That film was something of a horror-adjacent picture and this feels more like a traditional drama. The added hokiness of the religious extremism elements doesn’t add depth but makes the film feel like it’s trying too hard to make its point.
