Review: (#1) Although the capybara, toucan, and parrot are cute, they don’t add much to a satisfactory design. (#2) While it doesn’t entirely speak to the film’s concept, there’s just enough here to be intriguing.
(#3) A richly detailed backdrop makes a visually pleasing spectacle, but the positioning of characters feels overly calculated. (#4) This isn’t terribly different from a prior design, just with more characters and without adding anything to it.
(#5) Colorful, but no more interesting than prior designs. It also feels a touch too chaotic. (#6-#15) This series of door posters takes a new tack on character designs with each door acting as a representation of the character. It’s an interesting concept. (#16-#19) This series of character posters is more traditional and thus less interesting than prior efforts, especially with uninspired background designs. (#20) It’s an unusual design for this series and seems surprisingly lifeless for a Disney effort. (#21) It’s an original design and while the background itself isn’t particularly engaging, the details are interesting to look at.
Trailer Rating: B+ / A

Review: (#1) While the trailer is somewhat enchanting, the musical elements are minimized to the point of feeling irrelevant. That kind of deemphasis has doomed more than a handful of potential blockbusters.
(#2) With lush visuals and a compelling narrative, this trailer does a brilliant job selling the audience on this magic-heavy animated feature. It invests the audience in its premise quickly and effectively, which makes it a stellar trailer.
Oscar Prospects:
A certain contender for Best Animated Feature and is very likely to compete in Original Song and Original Score as well, which means Sound is, in tandem, a potential.
