Review: The titular dark hallway doesn’t hold much suspense in this poster design as no one looks particularly frightening and that’s what it’s meant to suggest.

Review: There’s some atmospheric sensibilities on display in this trailer, positioning this as a nice departure from a lot of the recent found-footage films that have dominated horror. It also doesn’t feel like it fits in this era, belonging instead to the era in which recent films like Woman in Black and Winchester have been set. That’s not entirely a selling point, but it’s also a point in its favor.
