Review: (#1) A dull, chunky mess of a poster that might have been better served by highlighting action elements rather than the stars, neither of whom have been a box office draw in some time. (#2) A little more distinctive than the first, but it’s an overdone aesthetic that needs to be retired until it can be revitalized with a fresh, distinct take.

Review: We’ve come to expect derivative dross from Nicolas Cage, but Willem Dafoe hasn’t been as excessive with such efforts lately. This trailer doesn’t suggest a film too terribly creative or entertaining, even in light of a narrative that briefly flirts with originality.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
