Review: (#1, C) Place, subject, and setting. None of which are the most captivating. (#2, B-) The attempt for creativity energy is there and it does make things intriguing but it’s also not easily understood. (#3, C) The limitation of color might help the red moth stand out but apart from the religious iconography, there’s little of intrigue here. (#3-#5, C) An interesting, if dull set of character posters that stick with stills from the film but adding an nice title bar across them, breaking up the monotony. (#6-#7) While not exactly character posters, they use similar themes, which somewhat work well in black-and-white but which fall apart with the infusion of mediocre and overused color.

Trailer Rating: C+

Review: (#1, C+) Another Korean feature that tries to copy western tropes, this time chasing the religious horror concepts that have gotten stale in the U.S. Little in the trailer suggests something more engaging than might typically be seen in the Unites States, which makes the film’s potential success limited.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
