Review: (#1, C) The black-white-and-red motif doesn’t have the impact as it once did and with an action film, it’s not the right tone regardless. (#2, C+) The same color scheme but with different imagery, creating an abundance of detail that will generate some appeal. (#3, C-) Once again with the colors, though this is more red-centric than the others. Fewer background details and a washed out feeling yields another mediocrity.

Review: (#1, C) A haphazard design that tries to get the audience excited for some expectation-twisting thrills but settles firmly into familiarity rather quickly. It’s a film that doesn’t necessarily require familiarity with the first film but certainly needs that to bring back the minor number of fans it had. (#2, C) While there are quite a few differences from the first trailer, especially in how much of the plot it revels in, the action isn’t any more exciting than the first and even watching both of them, there’s no chance this will be more of a non-entity than its predecessor.
