Review: (#1) This looks exceptionally cheap and for a film from a major studio, that feels like a cheat.
(#2) The white background is and always will be a cheap design element. The foreground here does help a bit, though everything looks PhotoShopped and posed, not authentic. (#3) Another dull backdrop with elements that feel familiar, but derivative. (#4) They put in a wood floor, but couldn’t be bothered to add more than a white wall behind them? Still less interesting than the second design, but about on par with the third.
Trailer Rating: B- / C+

Review: (#1) I never really got into the original film, so this trailer doesn’t instill in me any sense of excitement. However, there are a couple of funny moments suggesting at least a publicity department that knows how to sell a follow-up.
(#2) Digging further into the film’s premise doesn’t improve how good the film looks. Matter of fact, it makes the movie seem even more unexceptional. This is even a bit less funny than the prior trailer.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
