Review: (#1) It’s reminiscent of the design for The Favourite and doesn’t have much originality to it, just a bland backdrop. (#2) Still a bland background, but it’s effectively filled and the central image of a ladylike middle finger fits the tenor of the film.
(#3) Stoic, but uncompelling. Only fans of costume dramas will likely find something compelling in this and probably not even then. (#4) This does a better job selling the figure as a outrรฉ noble, but it’s not as interesting as it should be.
Trailer Rating: C+

Review: There are ways to sell a film like this and while The Favourite did it well, this is not similar enough. A dreadfully slow, lightly funny feature film somewhat comes through by the trailer’s end, but it won’t be enough to entice.
Oscar Prospects:
It might have an outside chance at an Art Directors Guild or a Costume Designers Guild nomination, but it might be too minor to score the nominations with the Oscars.
