Review: (#1) It’s par for the course with horror comedies to put your characters into imperiled situations while trying to accentuate the humor of the premise. It doesn’t work perfectly, but it works well enough. (#2) A cute, but somewhat unenthusiastic design that tries for something clever and is mildly successful. (#3) Hearkening back to a design that was common among horror films in the 1970s and 1980s, this poster is a nice homage even if it won’t make sense to everyone.
(#4) This seems like a cheap trick to play on the audience, especially after the other two designs tried so much harder. (#5-#8) These character posters aren’t the best, but they are clever for what they are. Going for the yearbook style, the true key to their quality is in the humorous quotes each teacher has below their picture.

Review: On the surface this looks like an amazingly fun concept, but there are small elements peppered throughout that suggest a more cookie-cutter approach to horror comedy that may ultimately hinder its potential success.
