Review: (#1) It’s a beautiful picture and the human visage hidden in the wing’s shadow is interesting; however, the design is too subtle to be understood and too simple to be appreciated. (#2 & #3) These character posters feature dull backgrounds and simplistic symbolism to sell themselves, a poor combination.

Review: There’s a compelling relationship drama somewhere mixed in this conventional trailer design. There’s little of genuine excitement in evidence and the actors aren’t given sufficient room to sell themselves to the audience.
Oscar Prospects:
Two potential powerhouse performances infuse the film, but the August release doesn’t give a serious prognosticator hope that either Rachel Weisz or Michael Shannon will make it to Oscar season intact.
