Review: (#1) Yes, the film is a comedy, but this seems unnecessarily cheesy and somewhat pointless. (#2) It’s a nice twist on the artistic drawings that have been used for posters for indie dramas and comedies. It also well encapsulates the film’s premise.
Trailer Rating: C+ / B

Review: (#1) It takes time for the trailer to get to its point. By then, the audience hasn’t quite figured out what to think about it, which could allow them to lose interest. Even so, the premise isn’t that interesting if this is going to be a straight drama, which the trailer offers that it might be.
(#2) The first trailer didn’t seem that interesting, but this re-cut trailer seems significantly more interesting and potentially humorous.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
