Review: (#1) It’s not that inventive and it’s certainly not that complex, but it ties well enough into the film’s premise that it has a type of gritty creepiness. (#2) Just focusing in on the eyes and nose of the clown while covering the rest in black and cutting out only the title is not the wisest idea for a design even if it’s more detailed than the other.

Review: Apart from the whole Eli Roth connection, this trailer has a lot going for it. The story is largely original. It taps into the public’s inherent fear of clowns. These irrational fears don’t affect everyone, but after a trailer like this, the skin crawling aspects of horror clowns is readily apparent.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
