Review: (#1) This obvious attempt to show how big Clifford is along with the film’s location is so simplistic that it seems pointless.

(#2) It’s a big wet mess of a design that only limited gets character reactions and otherwise just looks a tad cheap.

Review: (#1) As one would expect from a kid-targeted feature film, this trailer goes for the “ahhhs” and the childish humor you would come to expect. That should easily appeal to many children, but the adults in the room are going to see through the cheap-looking effects and the stagey kid-film tropes and immediately decide to give it a pass.

(#2) If a trailer wanted the viewer to know it was a children’s film, they certainly succeeded. If they wanted to make a children’s film that would also appeal to adults, the end result is decidedly mixed.
