Review: (#1-#5) This series of posters all look like they fit the theme of the film itself, but aren’t broadly appealing. Some of them are rather staid while the others are more creative, but less detailed.

(#6) Not copying a scene from the film is always a positive change in direction and there are quite a few details here to look at, but the empty background is atrocious.

Review: Is there anyone this franchise is targeted at other than Clerks fans? It’s not likely. One doesn’t make a sequel to a niche film and expect the end result to appeal to those who aren’t already familiar with and anticipatory of the feature. As such, the trailer does an adequate job tapping into the nostalgia factor in order to bring fans to the theater.
