Review: (#1) What strikes me as most interesting about this design is how well the upper and lower images are blended to make them look exact and cohesive. The beetle on the dress in the lower image is a bit odd, but it works surprisingly well for something so simple. (#2) This dull design has a hazy, but seemingly insignificant background and a central figure that doesn’t feel like it fits. (#3-#4) There’s not enough difference between these two designs to talk about them separately and the end result isn’t something of compelling beauty. It’s rather simple, modestly elegant, but otherwise uninspired.

Trailer Rating: B-

Review: The trailer is less clear in its observations than the synopsis of the film is; however, enough of that throwing-off-the-shackles concept makes it through the trailer even if insubstantially.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
