Review: A good example of the art, but with poorly placed thematic elements that don’t make it look more than passably interesting.

Review: While the trailer hamfistedly maneuvers the audience into a position of sorrow, it does present a seldom-viewed aspect of World War II and that’s life outside of Germany, especially for those who fled persecution.
Oscar Prospects:
The subject matter might be enough to push this film into the winners circle like most other non-Disney/Pixar films have been able to do.
