Review: (#1) The poster suggests this film is a quirky comedy. The trailer suggests otherwise. Regardless, the poster doesn’t sell the film very well, making it appeal narrowly and distantly.

(#2) A delicious pastiche of a design, it conjures up a period that these characters feel as if they were drawn from, a modern story with older fashioned sensibilities.

Review: At the core of the premise, there’s a potentially great film waiting to get out. Unfortunately, the trailer suggests that the movie will be a challenging experience that might ultimately reward the audience, if it can effectively find one.
